Lo Country Fun

As promised here are a few more photos from our trip to South Carolina.  We LOVED it there.  We loved the scenery, the food, the history..... I'm currently on the look out for a good shrimp n' grits recipe - let me know if you have one!

Liam makes this face a lot.  I think it's pretty cute.
This fountain was outside the art museum we visited in Columbia, SC
In case there was any doubt that we were in the south, we had a confederate flag flying at the state capital building to remind us where we were.
Liam and I shared a snack at the capital building....
He chased squirrels after he finished his "nana".
Charleston!  Liam's main objective for our entire trip was to play in as much dirt as possible.  What a boy!
Middleton Place (really beautiful plantation) on the left, Liam playing in the dirt again on the right.
These are two of the few statues left at Middleton Place from the Civil War.
Apparently this was a pond....I call it a swamp.
More playing in the dirt around live oak trees....
Palm Trees!

A small update...

The last couple weeks have been pretty busy.  Here is a tiny update on photos to come and what we have been up to:

We flew to Columbia, South Carolina (and drove to Charleston) to spend time with Kyle while he went through training for his job at the VA.
Liam got sick while we were there.  I got sick the day we got back home....

I'm pregnant again!  And I'm really starting to feel like it too.  (P.S.  This is a photo from when I was pregnant with Liam)
A friend and I shot a beautiful wedding in Joplin, MO.  Seriously beautiful.

We got back home safe and sound to Louisville, KY the day before this hit Joplin.  Wow. Thank God everyone that attended the wedding is safe.

Needless to say, I'm a tad tired (and really hungry) from all the traveling.  However, I look forward to giving you guys a more in depth update in the days to come!

Top Pic

Okay, I admit it....  I haven't taken any photos this week.  However, I did find one super cute photo I took a couple weeks ago of the Trapp family that I totally missed until yesterday!

The next two weeks are gonna be busy ones for the Meadows clan, so although I may be MIA from the blog for a while, you can expect some fun photos down the road!
